Emily and Harry were up their with some of the most relaxed people you’ll ever meet. Even from their couple session at Hengistbury Head in Dorset, it was like meeting up with old friends the way we hit it off. Emily and Harry had such a classic english wedding all down to the styling, venue and unbeatable British summer weather.

The day started at the beautiful Lulworth cove, just down the road from Lulworth Castle, in a cottage on the road down to the beach in this picturesque location. A super chilled bridal prep was the perfect way to ease ourselves into an unforgettable day. The original plan was for Emily to leave the cottage and jump straight into the awaiting car to take her to the castle, but with he weather like it was, I suggested for Emily and her Bridesmaids to instead walk up the road to her car and enjoy the moment of walking through the beautiful streets of Lulworth, which we obviously did! So much love came her way from onlookers and it was such a lovely moment for her to remember.

The ceremony was stunning, as it always is at Lulworth Castle Wedding. With it’s grand interior and abundance of natural light it’s the perfect setting for a quintessential British wedding. Loads of laughs and emotion flooding throughout the ceremony and into the drinks reception. It was for sure a windy drinks reception but took the edge off the heat of the day for guests which was a nice relief.

The wedding breakfast and speeches are always some of my favourite parts of the day. I always think you can really get to know a person when you hear what people have to say about them and often I find myself totally engaged with whats being said. Harry being a big Arsenal supporter brought out a surprise gift go for Emily in the form of a named shirt which had guests in fits of laughter along with all the background stories of how they met.

This Lulworth Castle Wedding did not disappoint with its sunset either. We had some incredible evening light so I took Emily and Harry around the grounds of Lulworth Castle to not only capture them but also, allow them some time to themselves to really take in what was happening. It’s hugely important to me for couples to have time and space to enjoy what they have brought together and not just go through the motions of the day. I make sure they really embrace every moment and are a huge part of their celebration too.

From here, it was pure party time and it was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
